Firefox Themes
Firefox themes allow you to change the appearance of Firefox. Here are a few specially designed ones that can be helpful for persons with visual impairments, and for those without perfect visual acuity. There are both high and low contrast themes and themes with large text and icons that all makes interacting with Firefox easier and more enjoyable.
HiVis Large

HiVis Large is a high contrast theme with large bold black text throughout the whole theme, animated mouseover effects, and your choice of 64x64 or 48x48 pixel toolbar buttons. The 64 pixel sized icons are the default size. To use the 48x48 ones, select "Use Small Icons" in Firefox's Customize Toolbar window.
HiVis Large (Initially released as HiVisGnome Big) was the first Firefox theme created for persons with visual difficulties in mind and it has been consistently maintained and updated since 2005 spanning several versions of Firefox from 1.4 to 3.5. We are sincerely grateful to Ed Hume the developer of HiVis Large for his continued contributions to helping to make Firefox more accessible to its users.
Kempelton Large

Kempelton Large offers very nicely designed and colorful toolbar buttons and icons in sizes
48x48 or 32x32 pixels. The default sized icons are 48x48. If you'd like to use the smaller 32x32 sized ones, select "Use Small Icons" in Firefox's Customize Toolbar window.
AnyColor

AnyColor allows you to choose your own colors and font sizes for all windows and dialogs within Firefox, and you can add your own custom header and footer images to Firefox's main window essentially allowing you to create a customized Firefox theme of your own.
AnyColor comes with several present color themes installed, there is easy access to others, and AnyColor also supports Personas.
HiVis

Aeon Clouds

Metal Lion 300

Metal Lion 300 is an attractive theme with nice contrasting colors created by Frank Lion the developer of several other Firefox themes including Metal Lion - Vista and Aluminium Kai 2.
