The Accessibar toolbar for Firefox is a fantastic tool that allows you to quickly and easily customize various visual settings of web pages for a more comfortable Internet surfing experience. Accessibar also offers a free and optional text to speech screen reader that is easy to learn and use.
Toolbar features included:
- Built-in screen reader
- Full page zoom in/zoom out
- Hide/show images
- Change web page text color
- Change web page background color
- Change font type
- Increase/decrease text size
- Increase/decrease line spacing
- Control visited and unvisited link colors
- Changes remain persistent while going from page to page.
Please note that there is a simple 3 step installation process for using Read Aloud Accessibar's built-in screen reader. There is only one step if you just want to use and install the toolbar. Instructions for installation can be located on Accessibar's homepage.
Accessing Options
There are 2 ways to access Accessibar's options windows.
Click on Accessibar's drop down menu on the Accessibar toolbar and select Options, or by the following this path in Firefox's drop down menus.
Select Tools > Add-ons > Extensions > Accessibar > Options.
